Exciting Times

There has been so much happening at Bandari over the past few months that we thought it was time we sent you an update.

We have added a staff toilet on the end of our administration building so that our staff no longer have to share a bathroom with the students.  We have also built a bridge over the irrigation ditch (for those of you who have visited the school, you know how exciting that is), and a lovely big gate which will help us control who enters the school site.

Check out our awesome new gate!!

Sustainability

We are so excited by the developments being made in our various agricultural endeavors.  Our Zucchini plants are looking amazing and will be soon ready for harvest and sale.  Our fish are growing nicely, it won’t be long before they are ready to sell.

Our cows and calf are going well, we are getting plenty of milk – enough for the students to drink and for us to sell.  The effort, time and money we have put into these projects is starting to pay off, the money earned goes back into running the school.  We are taking our first steps to becoming a more environmentally and economically sustainable school.

Help us buy a bus

We have decided to purchase a bus, as some of our students are walking a very long distance to come to school.  To help us look after the welfare of our students please click on the link to donate.

We Need Sponsors!!!
We have a new group of students starting in January next year, and are looking for some generous people to sponsor them.  For as little as $20 per month ($240 per year) you can make a real difference in a child’s life.  You will get updates on how your child is progressing and get the chance to watch the child thrive.  If you are interested you can email us at thebandariproject@gmail.com.
